Fun Ho! Trade Mark
Some of the Lead Alloy wheeled toys had a small trade mark attached but, generally, no transfers were used on Lead Toys. For one thing, there was scarcely room and, in those far off days, lead toys were almost regarded as dispensable.
The ubiquitous Fun Ho! trade mark was no doubt used for some time before it was officially registered and gazetted in 1940, as there were a lot of "Registration applied for" stickers on earlier Fun Ho! Toys to support this belief.
The trade mark was printed in black and red on a gold background. Around 1949-1950, the gold was changed to a bright yellow colour, and the transfer was used extensively in three sizes - large, medium, and small - on almost every toy that was produced.
